Undergraduate ProgramsBachelor's of Science (On Campus)Education, Training and Development (ETD) SpecializationElective CreditEight, three semester hour courses and six semester hours of elective credit comprise the ETD professional course sequence. The elective credit may be satisfied by successfully completing two additional WED courses, a WED internship or a combination thereof. Students electing the “courses” option must successfully complete two elective WED courses in accordance with the criteria defined in the respective course syllabi. The two courses could be in the areas of Instruction and Learning, HPI Program Development, Administration and Supervision or Quality Systems Management and Evaluation.* If the six semester hour internship option is selected, the student is required to successfully complete from 1-6 semester hours (50 to 300 clockhours) of internship activity. The credit may be earned in WED 495 - Instructional Internship, WED 496 - Professional Internship or both. If the student elects to combine the two internships, the number of credits/clock hours in WED 495 and the remaining number of credits/clockhours in WED 496 must equal the pre-determined credits/clockhour total.
