verbs as the first word of each bullet point to
emphasize job descriptions in your resume.

Association. APA is an editorial style of formatting
manuscripts for publication developed by the American

|
The goal of concise writing is to use the
most effective words. Concise writing does not always
have the fewest words, but it always uses the strongest
ones. Writers often fill sentences with weak or
unnecessary words that can be deleted or replaced. Words
and phrases should be deliberately chosen for the target
audience. |

|
A person who provides: (1) guidance for
and clarification of the course requirements as outlined
in the Syllabus, (2) feedback on assignments submitted,
and (3) grading of assignments as stipulated by the
scoring rubrics included in each assignment template.

An
asynchronous method of discussion. Discussion threads
are accessed, read by, and replied to by a community of
users. Discussion threads can be used for gaining or
sharing information on certain topics. They can also be
referred back to as reminders of questions and their

|
Any type of illustration other than a
table is called a figure. A figure may be a chart,

|
The difference between what is and what
should be - the difference between an actual state (what
results are) and a desired state (what results should

Using headings can outline the hierarchy of the ideas

A type of course that does not have an
instructor who stands and delivers, ie, the students are

contract for the course. It presents Course Information,

information on how to order the textbooks for the
course. Please read carefully through each section of
