  • U.S. Department of State - Their website is http://www.state.gov.

  • The World Factbook - A good website to find data by country http://geography.about.com/library/cia/blcindex.htm.

  • The Grantsmanship Center – Provides a listing of all types of foundations and funders for different countries and international projects.  Their website is http://www.tgci.com/intl.

  • World Bank – Provides funding for different projects throughout the world and in third world nations.  Their website is http://www.worldbank.org.

  • Asian Development Bank – provides different types of funding for Asian countries.  Their website is http://www.adb.org. 

  • University of Iowa – contains a listing of websites of funders interested in international projects and research.  Their website is http://www.uiowa.edu.

  • Fundsnet – This is a site that offers funding for all sorts of projects and research, both domestic and internationally.  Their website is http://www.fundsnetservices.com/internat.htm.

  • The Foundation Center – This site provides a multitude of funding opportunities from private and corporate foundations.  Their website is http://www.fdncenter.org.

  • Community of Science – This is a comprehensive website with a multitude of funding opportunities, both internationally and domestic.  The best way to navigate is by putting in specific search words.  Their website is http://www.cos.com.

  • Federal Grants Website – This website list thousands of grants available through CFDA number or search words.  There is also a listing by agency that you can search.  Access this information through http://www.fedgrants.gov.

  • Grantsnet – Also a good source, you can search this by specific words or topics.  Their website is http://www.grantsnet.org.

  • Labor Data - A good source of labor information.  Their website is http://www.bls.gov.
